GHG Assessment Services

Decision-Grade Greenhouse Gas Assessment for Complex Operations

We help organizations establish credible GHG baselines, quantify scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, and organize carbon data into a reporting-ready decision framework that leadership teams can use with confidence.

Greenhouse gas assessment and emissions data analysis

What this engagement is built to solve

GHG assessments are most valuable when they move beyond simple number reporting. Our work is structured to identify boundaries, material emission sources, data gaps, activity drivers, and practical reduction priorities so your inventory supports planning as well as disclosure.

Coverage

Built for organizations operating in India and international markets where sustainability, carbon, and disclosure expectations need to hold up across multiple stakeholder contexts.

Scope Highlights

What We Typically Cover

Organizational carbon footprint boundary setting and source mapping

Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions assessment with documented assumptions

GHG inventory consulting aligned to recognized reporting frameworks

Carbon accounting support for baseline creation, management review, and target-setting

Common Use Cases

Where This Work Fits Best

Corporate baseline programs

Establish a defensible greenhouse gas baseline before target setting, customer disclosure, or transition planning.

Manufacturing footprint reviews

Quantify energy, fuel, process, logistics, and purchased input emissions for plants and multi-site operations.

Supply-chain screening

Prioritize hotspots across purchased materials, transportation, waste, and downstream categories where scope 3 matters most.

Delivery Outputs

What Clients Receive

The output is designed to be usable by leadership, sustainability teams, operations teams, and external-facing stakeholders without diluting the technical basis behind the work.

GHG inventory summary with source-level calculation logic

Boundary memo, activity-data tracker, and assumptions register

Emission hotspot analysis for management action planning

Clear recommendations for data improvement and reduction prioritization

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a GHG assessment?

A GHG assessment quantifies the greenhouse gas emissions an organization is responsible for, grouped into Scope 1 (direct fuel and process emissions), Scope 2 (purchased electricity and heat) and Scope 3 (value-chain emissions such as purchased goods, logistics and product use). It sets a documented baseline for reporting, target setting and reduction planning.

Which standards do you follow for GHG inventories?

Our inventories follow the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard, with quantification aligned to ISO 14064-1. Boundaries, emission factors and assumptions are documented so the results can be reviewed or verified.

Do we need Scope 3 emissions for BRSR reporting in India?

BRSR Core asks listed companies to disclose Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, and value-chain disclosures are being phased in for large companies. Even where Scope 3 is not yet mandatory, customers increasingly ask suppliers for it, so a screening-level Scope 3 estimate is often worth doing alongside the core inventory.

What data do you need from us?

Typically fuel and electricity bills, production volumes, refrigerant top-ups, purchased material quantities, logistics records and waste data for the reporting year. We share a data request template at the start and help close gaps with documented estimates where records are incomplete.

How long does a GHG assessment take?

Most organizational GHG assessments take 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the number of sites, whether Scope 3 is included and how readily activity data is available.
